Thiess John Holland Relocates weighbridge with Help from Accuweigh

ACCUWEIGH has helped Thiess John Holland relocate a weighbridge for the Airport Link Tunnel Project in Brisbane.

ACCUWEIGH helps Thiess John Holland in relocation

The weighbridge is used to weigh trucks carrying an estimated 600,000t of spoil to be removed from underground.

Accuweigh supplied a pole mounted Drive Control Station (DCS) with an integrated Dallas Tag Reader to automatically identify each truck and to operate the weighbridge traffic lights.

The weighbridge weight and truck ID’s are relayed to a PC running AASoftware’s Ticket Aid Weighbridge Software to record truck weights and to generate the cartage fees to be paid to the individual truck operators.

While the weighbridge was being removed from Sydney, the weighbridge load cells sustained damage, so Accuweigh supplied a replacement set of AccuCell weighbridge load cells during the re-installation.

Accuweigh also fitted the 20m by 3m weighbridge fitted with a new digital weight indicator before testing, calibrating and certifying the weighbridge for trade use.
