Italians Showcase Energy Efficient Building

DuPont Europe, Middle East & Africa employees participated in a workshop on homes of the future last week at Technology Innovation Südtirol Innovation Park  in Bolzano, Italy.  The workshop showcased technologically advanced solutions for environmentally sustainable and energy-efficient construction systems.

About 120 participants, including architects, engineers, students and local authorities, attended the workshop. DuPont employees shared information about how to save energy with innovative DuPont materials for the construction industry.

“The Alto Adige region [northeast Italy] has a special law that provides funds to build energy-efficient homes that use alternative energy solutions like solar panels,” said Fiorentino Pedroli, country manager, DuPont Italy.  “This was a significant opportunity to display our sustainable solutions for the building and construction industry.”
