YIT Awarded Contract for Construction of New Office Buildings in Kalasatama’s Rantatie Business Park

YIT has signed a contract with Lindström Invest Oy on the construction of an office building in connection with Rantatie Business Park located in Kalasatama, Helsinki. The construction of the approximately 6,000 square metre office building named “Rantatien Kasvu” and an underground parking facility was started in January 2016 and the project will be completed in the end of 2017. The value of the contract for YIT is nearly EUR 25 million. The office building is fully leased. LEED environmental certificate with the aim of gold level will be applied for the building.

In addition to the contract, YIT signed a letter of intent with Lindström Invest on the construction of another office building in connection with Rantatie Business Park. The aim is to start the construction of the other office building, named “Rantatien Loikka” in autumn 2016. Upon completion, Rantatie Business Park will be a 20,000 square metre complex that YIT and Lindström Invest have carried out in good cooperation.
