Kone to Supply Eco-Efficient Elevators for Renovating Kyle Field Stadium, Texas

KONE Inc. today announced that it will supply dozens of eco-efficient elevators and escalators for the renovation of Kyle Field Stadium in College Station, Texas.

KONE will supply seven escalators and five elevators for the renovation's first phase, which will begin upon the completion of the 2013 football season. The remaining 14 escalators and eight elevators will be installed in the project's second phase, which will span from the completion of the 2014 season to the start of the 2015 season. Areas outside of the demolition and new work areas will remain open throughout construction. The stadium, when finished will host over 100,000 people.

KONE will maintain the new equipment, in addition to the 300 units it currently maintains as the service provider for Texas A&M University.
