Ainsworth Engineered Canada wins Gold Award for Best Integrated Marketing Campaign

Ainsworth Engineered Canada LP, a leading manufacturer and marketer of oriented strand board and other strand-based engineered wood products, today announced that it has won the Gold Award for Best Integrated Marketing Campaign 2012 at Hanley Wood’s first Annual Brand Builder Awards ceremony held in Chicago, IL on September 25, 2013.

The Brand Builder Awards recognize the most innovative and effective marketing campaigns throughout the residential and commercial design and construction industry. The competition is designed to honor the organizations that have demonstrated superiority in their ability to develop, create and execute marketing strategies and tactics that define excellence.

The Gold Award honors Ainsworth’s marketing campaign created by C Squared Advertising to support the growth of the company’s innovative and proprietary pointSIX® Flooring product line. “The campaign was integrated across multiple platforms, including print and online advertising, media relations, training and testimonial videos,” says Robert Fouquet, Ainsworth’s Vice President, Business Development. “Since its launch three years ago,” adds Mr. Fouquet, “PointSIX® Flooring has experienced sustained, compounded double-digit growth in sales and market penetration. This success is owed to the effectiveness of a demand creation program that has established a differentiated positioning for pointSIX and glorifies the product line’s benefits to our ultimate customer—the home builder.
