MAAX, a leading North American manufacturer of quality kitchen, bathroom, and spa products, will present its latest offerings at the 2005 Home & Trends Show at Place Bonaventure.
MAAX is also one of the main partners of the Poitras Casa, a luxurious, 4,000 square foot residence that will be adjacent to the MAAX booth at the 2005 Home & Trends Show.
“We have created a truly spectacular concept by featuring the very latest trends in living and design. After months of preparation, it’s a little like putting on a show for visitors,” notes Pat Hénaire, Corporate Vice President, Marketing and Sales.
Visitors will have an opportunity to admire the new kitchens designed by Jean-Claude Poitras for MAAX, as well as our latest bathtubs, showers, and medicine cabinets.
These reflect the latest trend in lifestyle: Hiving, which means livelier colors, less clutter, multifunctional workspaces, and more opportunity for interactivity. Hiving also means having more luxury at home by scaling down. Homebuyers will own fewer but nicer items.
"Less is more, except in one area: bathrooms. While there is more interactivity in the public spaces of the home like the kitchen, residents want more privacy, which means that en suite bathrooms—perhaps equiped with a massage system, a fireplace, a television, etc.—are becoming more popular," stated Hénaire.
The 800 square foot space will feature various rooms so that visitors can get a real feel for the atmosphere, as opposed to simply seeing the products out of context.
In particular, the full kitchen meticulously configured to meet today’s needs in elegant style is sure to capture the attention of visitors. MAAX will also present a number of bathroom products, including its brand new Zone series featuring character-rich bathtubs that can transform an ordinary bathroom into a stylish and comfortable living space. Among the products to watch for, the new series of medicine cabinets as well as our Living bathtubs are certain to surprise with their elegant and ergonomic design.
In addition, the Aerofeel air massage system, the most hygienic on the market and a real technological breakthrough, will be presented in conjunction with the heated backrest—for the ultimate in relaxation!
Several members of the MAAX team will be on hand to share their expertise in design and technological innovation, and to present the latest offerings developed by the Quebec-based company to journalists, business people, and the general public.
