Steel Windows and Doors USA will be displaying two new product lines at the International Builder's Show In Las Vegas on January, 19-22, 2010. Bill Polinsky and Domenick Siano will be in booth C3385 to show you their new thermally broken steel window and door systems and new steel bifold door system. Both new product lines are now available from Steel Windows and Doors USA.
Thermally broken windows and doors are an excellent choice for improving energy efficiency. The innovation of mulling inner and outer frame sections with an insulating material gives the units much better insulating qualities than most other windows and doors on the market. These products are available in galvanized powder coated steel, stainless steel, Cor-Ten steel and bronze. Different metals can be used for the inside and the outside of the frame sections, since they are fabricated as separate pieces. The Thermo Series OS2 thermally broken windows have a sightline as narrow as 1 1/8”.
Bifold doors are a great option to consider instead of French doors or sliding doors when a partially open or completely open wall is desired. Bifold doors are now available from Steel Windows and Doors USA with the strength and longevity of a steel product. Unique features of their new line of bifold doors include the ability to open the first leaf as a regular door, the ability to open the first two leafs as a French door, and the ability to stack the doors in a wall. The rollers used for these doors can handle a load in excess of 800 pounds, thus giving the capability for doors of 16 feet in height. Even greater door height is possible, depending upon overall weight. These doors are thermally broken and thus have great thermal efficiency.
