Concierge Auctions has announced that a 14,000-square-foot stately Georgian-style residence in Winston-Salem's desirable Bent Tree neighborhood will sell at a "live" auction on December 5th.
Originally scheduled for October 25th, the new date will coincide with another Concierge auction in Lexington, North Carolina on December 4th. Both properties will be sold to the highest bidders, without reserve, in cooperation with John-Mark Mitchell of The John-Mark Mitchell Group / eXp Realty of the Carolinas.
Set on a high hill at 4400 Bent Tree Farm Road, the tri-level Winston-Salem home, which was originally offered for $3.999 million, includes seven bedrooms, seven full and four half bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, a home theatre and an expansive wine cellar. Enter the property through elegant gates and onto a winding, 300-foot-long driveway lined with towering Maple trees, which makes way to a water fountain surrounded by colorful flowers and plants at the front of the home. Inside, a double staircase makes a grand first impression, leading into the formal rooms. Unique heart pine flooring can be found throughout, complimenting the original and elegant crown molding, high ceilings, six antique European sconces and four imported fireplaces, one of which is from France. Approximately 180 LeLand Cypress trees, some of which are as high as 40 feet, border the home's 3.88 acres.
"I enjoy my partnership with the Concierge team and consider their process a unique offering for sellers of the most premier properties in North Carolina," Mitchell stated. "The auction places a spotlight on the property and focuses the market's attention. It's a great way to produce a guaranteed sale within a certain timeframe and to give buyers the benefit of naming the price."
Modeled after Winston-Salem's famous Graylyn Estate, the December 4th auction property at 908 Country Club Lane in Lexington will make you feel like royalty — from the tip of its rounded spires to the bottom of its stone turrets. Nestled on a generous 12.13 acres of lush landscape within the highly sought-after Lexington Country Club, voted in the "Top Five Renovations in the County" by Crittenden's Golf Inc. Magazine, the home includes six bedrooms, six bathrooms, a movie theatre, a shooting gallery and a pool. True to its enchanting manor architecture, there's even a hidden room. The property was previously offered for $2.2 million.
"Following our recent sale of the historic 517-acre Rocky Creek Ranch in Charlotte, we're excited to continue our North Carolina presence," stated Laura Brady, President of Concierge Auctions. "Both the Bent Tree and Lexington estates are exquisite properties and at the top of the market quality-wise for their areas. They are great examples of the caliber of assets we enjoy presenting to our clients."
