Drummond Designs, a developer of architectural residential home plans, today unveiled a collection of 12 Florida-style residential home plans destined to attract the interest of a growing number of contractors throughout the state.
It is the first time in its 33-year history that Drummond Designs has unveiled a collection for a specific region. In the last six months, the company has invested more than 1,500 hours in research and meetings with designers, architects, structural engineers, housing authorities, and state and county home builders’ association representatives to devise the models tailored to meet the expectations and requirements of Floridians.
The various southern-inspired models have a Floridian and Texan touch, and the textures, materials and colors from this collection should give an added radiance to Florida’s residential landscape. Some of the unveiled models are a direct response to the growing demand for narrow lots, and should thus respond to concerns associated with land cost.
“This collection of residential home plans is a great way to showcase the craftsmanship of our designers and drafters,“ stated Yves Carignan, CEO of Drummond Designs.
“It clearly conveys the importance we devote to the quality of our plans and renderings, as well as our understanding of the expectations of home buyers in Florida. We sincerely hope custom builders across Florida will see these plans as an opportunity to have proven professionals develop customized plans at a non-prohibitive cost, while enabling them to offer modification capabilities to their respective clients.”
