GreenWizard Allows Architects to Run Assessments for Design Credits

GreenWizard, a cloud-based information-sharing and product management solution that makes selection of building materials, modeling and teamwork easier in order to optimize LEED and green building credits, stated that it provides architects the expertise to run appraisals for design credits, along with the conventional norms of obtaining LEED credits restricted to specific products.

Nowadays, architects can replicate numerous LEED credit design assessments for a single project by using the GreenWizard and can save it within the wizard to be judged against others to choose the project, which strikes a balance between the objectives of the client, location-restricted design and cost. After the design has been decided, the final evaluation can be chosen and, with the competencies that GreenWizard is presently developing, applied through LEED Online.

GreenWizard enhances efficiency by providing design credit assessments to enable improvement of both function and form. The latest construction credits that GreenWizard is compatible with are materials and resources - prerequisite 1, IEQ - prerequisite 1 & 2, credits 1, 2, 5, 6.1, 6.2, 8.1, 8.2 , sustainable sites - credits 1, 2, 3, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3 and water efficiency - prerequisite 1, credits 1, 2, 3.

Already with additional design credit assessments in the pipeline, GreenWizard offers analogous design credit assessments for New Construction Retail and Core & Shell.
