The Wyndham Garden Dayton South hotel has formally celebrated its opening after spending multi-million dollars for its renovation in a period of five months. The renovation will enable the hotel to comfortably join the Wyndham Hotels and Resorts brand.
The 134 room hotel located at Miamisburg has restructured the meeting space, market place, fitness center, business center, atrium, guest rooms and public spaces thus making it an important feature of south Dayton. The renovation has brought in a fresh and rejuvenated appearance to the hotel located on the corner of OH-741 and OH-725.
The upgrades performed in the guest rooms include free wireless and wired internet facility, bigger sized high-definition televisions with flat-screen, art décor, lighting and modern furniture. All the rooms were provided with the signature Be Well® bedding of Wyndham. The renovated bathrooms sport new granite surfaces and signature bath conveniences of Wyndham.
As a part of the renovation process the hotel brought in new features such as a market place to provide grab-and-go items for the clients and an art gallery having aviation artwork of yester years. The hotel offers 24 hours service at its health and fitness center and business center. The hotel also has an on-site eatery and lounge and room service and it offers free shuttle service for the clients to reach places within a five-mile radius.
The hotel offers over 15,000 sq ft of event space and indoor meeting area to conduct events, weddings and business functions. The event space includes a Plaza Ballroom measuring 6,500 sq ft to allow 800 guests. The hotel also provides modern audiovisual equipment for use and has kept its on-site catering staff to handle the beverage and food services.
The hotel managed by Interstate Hotels and Resorts is owned by an associate of Blue Cougar Investments, an investment company based in New York.
