Edward and Herbert Newman and their associates declared the finish of a new student apartment community, Envision Apartments. The apartments formulated with a Green-minded living concept offer the students environment- friendly amenities and living spaces. The new apartment is located close to the University of Akron.
The Envision apartment community has 111 two and three bedroom units to provide housing to around 300 residents in its five buildings. Some of the eco-friendly amenities deployed in the construction include energy saving lighting and appliances, a bio-swale to filtrate rain water through the soil to remove wastes and to improve water quality, thus reducing the chances for mosquito development and a tank less hot water facility.
The apartments have granite kitchen surfaces, latest furniture, and ENERGY STAR rated appliances such as microwave and a dishwasher. The other facilities the apartments have include laundry facilities, bike storage, study lounges, fitness center equipped with the latest exercise equipment, flat screen television sets and a social service center with modern seating facility.
Cleveland-based Bialosky & Partners-Architects have provided the design for the project valued over $12 million dollars. The construction has red brick exteriors and ENERGY STAR rated windows to improve lighting and air advantage. Regency Construction, a Cleveland-based company has provided the construction management related services.
