SmartWatt Energy declared that it has finished the installation of a new LED lighting at the temperature-controlled storage facility of Americold in Gouldsboro, PA.
The lighting project incorporating quality LED products will enable Americold to save around $195,806 every year on lighting costs and $67,308 as resulted savings on cooling expenditure. The project itself will pay off the investment made in a period of 13 months.
Wilkes-Barre, PA office of SmartWatt Energy has associated with Americold in completing the Gouldsboro project. During the earlier part of this year, SmartWatt Energy has finished LED lighting installation projects at the facilities owned by Americold in Fort Worth, TX, Allentown, PA, City of Industries, CA, Russellville, AR, Victorville, CA, and Rochelle, IL. The company will be upgrading one more facility of Americold in July this year.
Tarek El-Gohary, SmartWatt Energy’s Vice President of East Coast Operations, stated that Americold has chosen his company as associate in the project to cut down its energy intake. He added that the tailor made energy efficient solutions to meet the requirements of the clients enable them to maximize the performance of their systems, save energy and above all assist them to receive more returns on their investments. He further said that the new installation will enable Americold to function more energy efficiently.
