Austin-Based Homebuilder Announces Formation of New Company

Clark Wilson, long time Austin homebuilder, has formed a new company to serve the Austin, Texas metro area. The new company, Clark Wilson Builder, Inc., is currently working on several lot and land opportunities in the region and plans to begin new single-family homes spring 2011.

Wilson sees multiple signs of a looming housing and lot shortage in the area. "At the end of 2010 the market was actually under built by 3792 homes. That number is derived from taking population increases and applying historical propensities to ownership verses rent and the result is a surprising shortage," stated Wilson.

Clark Wilson was recently president of Green Builder, Inc. Wilson's career has been marked by numerous housing awards and construction of thousands of new single-family homes and lots in Central Texas.
