KBR Wins Construction Contract from State of Missouri

KBR (NYSE: KBR) today announced it has been awarded a job order contract (JOC) by the State of Missouri to be the preferred provider of renovation and repair construction projects for state owned and managed facilities throughout Missouri. The one-year contract offers four option years for renewal and has an anticipated value of up to $20 million. This is the third consecutive JOC contract that KBR has been awarded by the state.

KBR will provide a range of construction services that will vary in size and scope and will include facilities repair, renovations and new construction for all state facilities statewide. Job order contracting is a widely used contracting vehicle designed to provide a more responsive and cost-effective solution for colleges, universities, school districts, cities, counties, states and other government entities. Work on the contract is expected to begin immediately.

“KBR is pleased to have been selected by the State of Missouri as the preferred provider of job order contracting services,” said David Zimmerman, President, KBR Services. “We look forward to building upon our experience with the State of Missouri and providing quality services to our valued client and its citizens.”
