Buildings are significant consumers of energy and major contributors to global greenhouse gas emissions. Organizations are discovering the importance of employing green building practices and principles not only to raise the level of its building's operational performance but also to make it more environmentally friendly.

The panel will explore how cities and communities are becoming more sustainable through better planning, integrated developments and the design of resource-efficient buildings.
During the session, Taival will present recommendations for implementing energy and operational efficiency practices within organizations. His discussion will focus on project funding and incentives in Canada, the United States and rest of the world.
