In two weeks, construction professionals at Nordbygg will be blasting project documents to PDF with Bluebeam® Software’s newly updated PDF editor, Bluebeam® PDF Revu 8®. Bluebeam recently localized its award-winning PDF creation, markup and editing software to Swedish and will unveil its project digitizing powers to Nordic construction professionals at Nordbygg in stand A24:29.
“Bluebeam Software has been helping the world’s top design and construction firms go paperless for the past eight years,” said Stephani Haynes, Director of Marketing at Bluebeam Software. “We’re certain that Sweden’s construction industry will immediately recognize the value of Bluebeam PDF Revu 8 for sharing, reviewing and managing project documents and drawings electronically.”
To win the hearts and minds of the Swedish building community, Bluebeam is calling upon the powers of its superhero, Mighty Bluebeam. Dubbed “The World’s Greatest Paper Eliminator,” Mighty Bluebeam shows construction professionals how to battle excessive paper usage by digitizing project drawings and documents.
“It will be quite obvious to Nordbygg attendees that Bluebeam is not your typical software company,” adds Haynes. “Our stand will be decked out with superhero flair, and we’re charged up to demonstrate our newest PDF creation, markup, editing and access features.”
Revu 8 was released February 9th and provides several intuitive tools for fully digitizing project communication. The exclusive new File Access tab allows users to easily manage and organize project documents from within Revu. Additionally, integration into Microsoft® SharePoint® and Bentley® ProjectWise® via a Revu toolbar allows users to retrieve, edit and check-in PDFs with just a few mouse-clicks. Revu 8 also features one button PDFs from Revit® and AutoCAD®, customizable toolbars, linkable markups and formulas for performing cost calculations from measurement data.
The Swedish version of Bluebeam PDF Revu 8 is available exclusively through FutureCAD, a leading software distributor based in Stockholm that serves the architecture, engineering, construction and manufacturing markets.
