PureSpectrum Lighting Products Now Available from IN Green

Dimmable energy efficient lighting from PureSpectrum (OTCBB: PSRU) is now available in Puerto Rico through Puerto Rican distributor IN Green Corporation, and PureSpectrum’s products are being presented to large retailers and multiple representatives within the Energy Affairs Administration (EAA) in Puerto Rico to be considered for inclusion in the U.S. territory’s efforts to improve overall energy efficiency through the implementation of energy efficient products and technologies.

Puerto Rico’s energy costs are higher than virtually any state in the U.S. and the U.S. territory was awarded more than $100 million in federal stimulus funding and grants last year to allocate toward improving energy efficiency throughout its municipalities. To incentivize implementing energy efficient products and technologies, the EAA has used funds provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) to develop multiple rebate programs with the Puerto Rican Infrastructure Financing Authority (AFI) such as the Building Energy Efficiency Retrofit Program which offers rebates to commercial, non-profit and governmental entities that engage in recommended energy efficiency upgrades.

IN-Green Corporation, which has submitted purchase orders for PureSpectrum’s dimmable Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL) and step dimming electronic ballasts, is a distributor serving Puerto Rico by concentrating on offering energy efficient products and technologies to government entities, manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, commercial and residential builders and other commercial and industrial channels in Puerto Rico. The company’s objective is to promote awareness of the urgency of energy conservation while offering a variety of affordable “green energy” products and technologies that complement each other to attain maximum energy savings and contribute to the reduction of energy consumption for Puerto Rico.

According to IN Green president Esteban Llop, PureSpectrum’s products fit ideally into the product categories that Puerto Rican consumers and contractors are eager to identify in order reduce consumption and take advantage of the rebate programs. He said this month he plans to introduce PureSpectrum’s products to multiple large retailers, including Wal Mart and Home Depot, with presences in Puerto Rico and will be submitting PureSpectrum’s products to the EAA to be included in the approved list of resources that can be used as a part of Puerto Rico’s weatherization programs and energy efficiency upgrades funded by ARRA funding.

“Because of our present condition, the demand in Puerto Rico for affordable, energy efficient products and technologies like PureSpectrum’s dimmable lighting is greater than ever before in our history,” Llop said. “We are urgently looking for products that will lower energy consumption, protect the environment and improve our way of living. Since lighting is the largest single consumer of energy, PureSpectrum’s products should be included in the plan to reduce energy consumption. Puerto Rico is a business based economy in which construction and manufacturing play a primary role, and all sectors of the Puerto Rican economy can benefit considerably from energy conserving products like PureSpectrum’s dimmable lighting.”
