Novik Inc. (NVK) is pleased to report the receipt of a large order from a North American client amounting to more than $300,000. "This order coincides with the recent launch of our new line of exterior sidings," confirmed Mr. Gaudreau, president of Novik. "An important client of Novik has decided to introduce three new products in all of its stores and the first order will be shipped in March and April of this year.
This large order increases the growing visibility of our products in the American market. We have had a lot of recent success in gaining interest from large North American distributors. By launching these new products, we have significantly increased the number of distributors with great sales potential in 2010, and we are always in discussion with other large distributors to further penetrate this market."
"Our first quarter of the 2010 financial year is already looking healthier than that of 2009," added Mr Gaudreau, "We have almost doubled our turnover in January 2010 compared to the previous corresponding period, and as of today, our February 2010 sales have already surpassed those in February 2009. We are currently looking very good for 2010 thanks to orders received since December 2009 and ongoing discussions with new and existing clients."
In relation to the marketing strategy which anticipates rapid growth in Novik's sales over the next few years, Mr Gaudreau also announced his decision to appoint Mr Serge Gauvin as General Manager. "Before the holiday season I decided to hire a General Manager with the necessary experience to help manage our rapid growth. With the help of a selection committee of external people we decided on Mr Gauvin. He has just the right experience within manufacturing companies involved in the construction industry. He knows how to enable companies to meet their objectives and carry out their strategic vision, and he also has a lot of experience in managing sales and marketing teams."
"It is the responsibility of the general manager to make sure all employees and management teams can identify and achieve their objectives in relation to the overall strategic vision." Mr Gaudreau explains, "Serge will oversee and carry out a course of action with our sales and marketing team which will ensure the success of our marketing plan. He will directly supervise the sales and marketing teams and will work closely with Senior Management to make sure that internal operations are in line with my vision. I will personally continue to direct Novik's overall vision while taking care of new sales opportunities in international markets, as well as overseeing new product development and existing product improvement. With these steps I feel confident that Novik can consolidate its workforce and become more efficient in achieving its objectives which need stronger management in the face of rapid sales growth."
