Little Giant Ladder Systems Expands its Business Portfolio in Asia, Europe and South America

Little Giant Ladder Systems®, makers of the original articulating ladder, announced the expansion of its international business in dozens of countries in Asia, Europe, and South America. The creation of an Asian operations hub in Shanghai and expanded distribution throughout Europe marks a significant global milestone for the company.

“Asia and Europe are areas of high demand for Little Giant Ladders,” said H. Arthur Wing, President. “The current need and tremendous growth opportunity has steadily increased to a level such that it was strategically sound to establish a center of operations in China. Our Shanghai facility opens a whole new world of possibilities for Little Giant Ladder Systems, and we look forward to servicing our customers around the world who made this milestone possible.”

The Shanghai facility will serve the expanded distribution areas of Korea, Japan, all of Mainland China and parts of Europe. Grainger Industrial Supply will also continue to distribute Little Giant Ladders.

Four new product lines will be introduced at the International Hardware Fair in Cologne, Germany, February 28 – March 3, 2010. These new innovations will be the first ladders to run through the expanded global distribution channels.

“The response to our recent innovations and widespread distribution created a need for expansion throughout the world,” said Ryan Moss, CEO. “Innovation is the hallmark of Little Giant Ladder Systems. We are proud to provide professionals and homeowners all around the world with the never-before-seen safety, stability and ease-of-use features offered by the new SumoStance, MicroBurst, Select Step, and Flip-N-Lite product lines.”
