Restore Media Announces the Traditional Building Playhouse Raffle to Benefit Three of Philadelphia's Local Charitable Organizations

A skilled team of master tradesmen and carpenters will build a turn-of-the century, cottage-style Playhouse on the exhibit hall floor during the Traditional Building Show, April 28-30, 2005, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

The Traditional Building Exhibition and Conference is the largest national event for professionals -- architects, builders, contractors, developers, building owners, preservationists, and urban planners -- who restore and renovate historic buildings and houses or who create new buildings, houses, and neighborhoods in a traditional style.

"The Traditional Building Playhouse will be a true demonstration of how new-world materials are being used in old-world construction, and will be a major focal point for this year's show," explains Eric Peterson, Show Director.

Proceeds from the raffle will benefit three of Philadelphia's local charitable organizations: The Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia, The Charter High School for Architecture & Design, and YouthBuild Philadelphia.

"We are honored to be involved in a project that can help further the mission of these venerable organizations, whose work is so important to the city of Philadelphia," says Peterson.

Raffle tickets can be purchased online at www.preservationalliance.com, by phone at 215-546-1146 x10; email [email protected]; or during the show from The Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia, in booth # 747.

The drawing will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2005 at the Traditional Building Show, in the Live Demonstration Area on the exhibit hall floor.
