Champion Window and Patio Room Company has joined ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and a long list of volunteers providing goods and services to make the dream of having a new home come true for the Creasey family in Lexington, NC.
Cincinnati-based Champion is providing and installing over 30 of their new ColorBond Comfort 365 Glass windows in the house. Crews of Champion employees, both locally from the Champion of Greensboro location and from the Cincinnati, OH home office, professionally installed the windows in just hours on November 13. Other Champion employees have been involved in the project, including factory associates who worked on a very tight schedule to produce the windows on time, and other employees who volunteered to assist in the construction and other parts of the project. The “Move That Bus” segment of the program occurred on Tuesday.
“This is an exciting opportunity to lend a hand to this deserving family,” said John Kuhl, Division Manager of Champion of Greensboro. “We pride ourselves on being active in the community, and are dedicated to being a good corporate citizen in whatever ways we can.”
Champion’s involvement with the Extreme Makeover home began when they were, once again, approached to provide the windows by the Extreme Makeover team. Champion had already provided the windows for the Cincinnati, OH and St. Louis, MO episodes in 2008. Champion’s ENERGY STAR rated Comfort 365 Windows are not only beautiful but will continue to work for the Creaseys in saving them money on their energy bills year round. Champion worked with the architect and designer to create the perfect windows for the new house.
