Waterfront Toronto to Officially Begin Construction of Canada's Sugar Beach
Waterfront Toronto together with the Government of Canada, Province of Ontario and City of Toronto will officially break ground at Canada's Sugar Beach on Friday, October 30.
Currently a parking lot, Canada's Sugar Beach will become Toronto's second urban beach located at the entrance to the new waterfront neighbourhood of East Bayfront.
Designed by one of Canada's most innovative landscape architects, Claude Cormier Architectes Paysagistes in association with The Planning Partnership, Canada's Sugar Beach is like three parks in one with a plaza space, urban beach and tree-lined promenade.
