12 Contractors to be Appointed for Hanover Housing Project

Hannover Housing Association is inviting bids for a £144 million framework contract covering the design and construction of new retirement and extra care homes across the UK.

Up to 12 contractors will be appointed to partner with Hanover in the delivery of its four year development programme.

The association plans to build between four and six extra care schemes per annum and 1,000 retirement housing units are planned over the next five years

This volume is expected to continue in future years subject to funding.

The framework is divided into three regional lots – North, West, and South – to which four contractors will be appointed.

Firms can bid for more than one lot and must submit pre-qualification questionnaires by 2 November. Invitations to tender will be issued on 1 December.
