Places for People Searches for a Contractor to Construct Homes in Milton Keynes

Registered Social Landlord Places for People is looking for a contractor to build up to 214 homes at Brooklands, a new community it is developing in eastern Milton Keynes.

The development will be a mix of affordable tenures funded partly by grant and partly by private sale, and will include a mix of low rise apartments and low density family housing.

The partnered contract, valued at £28m, will run for three years from date of award.

The deadline for expressions of interest is 9 October. Places for People anticipates shortlisting four contractors for the deal.
