Lista International Corporation now offers Roller Shelf storage for lithographic stones. The Storage Wall® Roller Shelf is a unique approach to lithographic stone storage in the art education market.
Lithographic stones are used at colleges, universities and art studios. Lista is the first to offer a formal solution to address storage of these heavy, and expensive, stones. Institutions such as The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) are currently using Lista Roller Shelves to house these stones and absolutely love them.
“Lista's Storage Wall® System, with its heavy weight-bearing capacity roller shelves, is a safe and accessible home for storing lithography stones. And Lista drawer and shelf cabinets are home to printmaking supplies of all sizes and shapes,” said Danny Miller, Lab Manager at the School's Printmaking Department.
Lista’s Roller Shelf storage solution for lithographic stones covers storage for stones ranging from as small as 10” x 12” (31 lbs.) to as large as 24” x 36” (304 lbs.) The roller shelf can also be adjusted to house a stone that is 5” thick if necessary.
The Storage Wall Roller Shelf has a standard height of 35-1/4” (850mm). This unit holds 4 roller shelves, creating a worksurface height that can be efficiently utilized in the print shop area. Furthermore, Lista’s stainless steel tops offer the perfect worksurface for a print shop environment. Each shelf holds up to 770 lbs. (350kg) of weight. There is also a front gate with a hinged drawer handle cover to make sure the stone is secured on the shelf.
