An improved method for preparing surfaces for decorative concrete arts makes it easier and safer for contractors to leave their stamp on the world. Franmar Chemical, Inc. specializes in safe, effective, green products designed to clean concrete surfaces and also remove paint, urethane, sealer and mastic.
Made with soybeans, Soy-Gel Professional Paint & Urethane Stripper and BEAN-e-doo Mastic Remover are being looked at by industry professionals as the safe, effective and easy to use alternative to harsh chemicals and mechanical grinders as they prepare concrete surfaces for decorative design. The products are safe to handle and dispose of, and don't have the harsh odors associated with other chemicals.
"Since 1987 Franmar has been known for producing safe and effective products for removing paint, mastic, and urethane across multiple industries," said owner Frank Sliney. "Powerful products, like Franmar's Soy-Gel and BEAN-e-doo, have proven to be effective for the decorative concrete industry as well."
Franmar's Emerge Floor Degreaser, also made from natural ingredients, is another key product used for the removal of dirt and grime from concrete surfaces.
In the past decade, the decorative concrete industry has exploded. In-door and out, concrete surfaces are being turned into magnificent works of art. Often, a contractor will be faced with the challenge of preparing a surface by removing paint, mastic or grease before he or she can begin his or her design work.
