Wireless computer networks helping builders

ZDNet is reporting on an innovative use of wireless networking technology at the St Regis Museum Tower construction site.

Sitting on a crane high above the site is a wireless network hub. The hub allows engineers and construction crews to instantly view building plans and other critical information such as project management data and schedules. The wireless network is allowing the construction teams to work as efficiently as possible, saving both time and money.
