Advantages of using LED Lights for Christmas Decorations

This season, some consumers are looking at the advantages of purchasing light-emitting diode (LED) lights for their holiday decorating needs, according to an article by The Star Tribune. LED lights use 100 times less electricity than standard holiday light bulbs and have a lifespan of up to 100,000 hours when used indoors and up to 50,000 hours when used outdoors.

While LED lights are considered better for the environment, some say a drawback of LED lights is that they are not as bright as incandescent lights.
