The U.S. Navy is to spend up to $600,000 on disguising a collection of L shaped buildings that look like a swastika from the air.
The four L-shaped buildings from the 1960s, are part of the Navy's amphibious base at Coronado and serve as barracks for Seabees.
Although the controversial layout of the buildings cannot be seen from the ground, Google Earth satellite images clearly show the Nazi symbol and it has attracted complaints.
