Primavera Systems, Inc., the leading provider of project, resource, program and portfolio management software, today announced that seven of its clients won Constructech 2007 Vision Awards. The awards, presented by Constructech magazine, recognize organizations that have applied innovative technology solutions to solve critical business issues.
The seven honored Primavera clients are:
- CH2M Hill (Atlanta, Ga.) -- Silver Vision Award in the AEC/Design - Commercial category.
- Florida Department of Transportation (Tallahassee, Fla.) -- Silver Vision Award in the Transportation/Communications/Utilities category.
- Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (Atlanta, Ga.) -- Gold Vision Award in the Transportation/Communications/Utilities category.
- Hill International (Marlton, N.J.) -- Gold Vision Award in the Public/Administrative/Government category.
- Satterfield & Pontikes (Houston, Texas) -- Silver Vision Award in the Builder/GC Commercial category.
- The Stellar Group (Jacksonville, Fla.) -- Gold Vision Award in the Builder/GC Commercial category.
- Utah Department of Transportation (Salt Lake City, Utah) -- Bronze Vision Award in the Transportation/Communications/Utilities category.
The Stellar Group received its Gold Vision Award for successfully implementing a project management solution companywide. Using Primavera, project managers now access all project information from one Web-based system, facilitating the flow of reports, photos and other project information -- anytime, anywhere. Due in part to the use of Primavera, the revenue of Stellar's Food & Beverage division has more than tripled -- without increasing dedicated resources.
"After implementing Primavera, we reduced the staff workload by 33 percent. We've streamlined our operations and improved efficiency," said Raja Saoud, director of project controls, at Stellar. "Receiving this award is a great validation of our success."
Primavera was awarded seven Constructech Technology Enabler Awards for providing integrated project and program management software to the winning companies. Primavera's technology enables organizations to standardize processes, align projects with business goals, forecast resources and minimize risk throughout a project's lifecycle.
"We extend our congratulations to this year's winners and applaud our customers for their creative problem solving and technological innovation," said Dick Faris, executive vice president, at Primavera.
