New Website for Guardian's Advanced Architectural Glass Products

Guardian has launched a new comprehensive website -- www.SunGuardGlass.com -- devoted exclusively to SunGuard®, the company's growing brand of advanced architectural glass products. SunGuard glass comes in a variety of appearance options and offer substantial improvements in glass energy performance for a wide variety of commercial buildings. The new web site is the first of several major architectural glass program enhancements to be announced by Guardian in the near future.

Designed for architects, engineers, glazing contractors and glass fabricators, SunGuardGlass.com allows visitors to easily select and specify any SunGuard Advanced Architectural Glass product.

"We created this new website based on feedback received from architects and other customers, extensive research and benchmarking," said Chris Dolan, director of Guardian's commercial glass program. "As we continue to bring new SunGuard products to market, we want to ensure each visitor finds a user-friendly site that provides tools and information that make it easy to understand the benefits of, and specify, Guardian SunGuard Advanced Architectural Glass."

Among the new features, the site includes a performance comparison tool that helps visitors easily select and compare products based on user specified performance criteria; a comprehensive project database with photos of many buildings with SunGuard glass and a new Google™ map feature that shows exactly where the project is located; and the SunGuard Select™ Fabricator Locator that quickly finds the independent certified fabricator with the required experience and location to meet project high performance glass needs. This locator also makes it easy to find the Select Fabricators that are closest to the project site, which can help meet project LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) requirements for local glass supply. SunGuard Select Fabricators are located throughout North America and have met rigorous criteria demonstrating their ability to process SunGuard Advanced Architectural Glass for all types of commercial structures.

The SunGuard brand includes three groups of products: SuperNeutral Series, High Performance Series and Solar Series. Currently, 11 products offering a variety of aesthetically pleasing colors and a wide range of performance characteristics are available to support most specifications.
