Novik Announces it has Received Initial Orders for it's Noviclay

Novik Inc. announced today that it has received an initial order for its Noviclay(R) high barrel clay tile replica roofing system. The order, which was negotiated by our new agent in the Caribbean, is estimated at nearly $220,000 and will be delivered in early summer. President Michel Gaudreau is pleased with the recognition of this product's quality and durability, since it had passed all of the climatic tests that are customary in this part of the globe where hurricanes and the sun are omnipresent. This project is a first step in a new market for the company and will certainly contribute to the pursuit of Novik's growth objectives.

In addition, following joint efforts with JAPAN CERAMICS, a major Japanese distributor, the new Novislate(R) roof tile system has taken all of the steps to meet Japanese standards for roofing products. "Japan is a country where standards are strictly observed. We have taken an important step by obtaining this certification. Pilot installations were tested in 2006, which will now allow our distributor to launch the merchandising of this product throughout this country, which is a very promising potential market for Novik for years to come," according to Mr. Michel Gaudreau.

International sales have grown 170% since 2005. Novik already exports nearly 70 percent of its production output to foreign markets. Novik is optimistic about the potential of opening up distribution of all of its products to these two markets.
