Unique Tool Designed to Improve Safety for Workers who use Step Ladders

National home hardware retailers are learning first-hand about the strong sales potential of a unique tool designed to improve safety for workers who use step ladders at home or on the job.

The tool, known as the "LadderMaxx -- Your Smart Safety Caddy," has garnered a prestigious Retailer's Choice Award and has been singled out by "Hardware Retailing" Magazine as one of the most innovative new products on the market.

Based on this recognition, hardware store retailers are poised to learn how to make it available for do-it-yourselfers and those whose livelihood depend on using a step ladder.

LadderMaxx was invented with safety in mind by Bee Safety Wise, LLC. But it has proven itself to be an absolute time saver for workers who must constantly go up and down the ladder, straddle it or balance themselves atop the ladder to retrieve tools.

"Our tool makes it easy for do-it-yourselfers, painters, electricians, housewives and anyone using a stepladder to work with ease," says Les Wise, the inventor of LadderMaxx. "We know it has strong sales potential. Being recognized for its uniqueness by the hardware industry helps reinforce our thoughts about its usefulness and its safety features."

The tool's success is self-evident. LadderMaxx is designed to be a caddy that easily secures to any size step ladder. It keeps tools organized and, most importantly, in view. The non-tipping, basket-like caddy construction has a metal tray liner to hold a paint pan. It has rings with locking pins to keep electrical cords from dangling loosely on the steps of the ladder. A locking mechanism prevents a paint roller from slipping into the paint tray, keeping the overall job neater and cleaner. It also has a spooler for paper towels.

Judges of DIY Retailing Magazine presented the owners of the company with the prestigious "Retailer's Choice Award" as the "Most Outstanding and Innovative new product" at the National Hardware Show in Las Vegas earlier this year. After the tool was featured in the July issue of Hardware Retailing Magazine, hardware retailers began to inquire about it, Wise said.

LadderMaxx comes in a three-pound unit for home use and a seven-pound, heavy duty industrial unit for job sites.
