‘Material Lab’, the recently opened materials resource centre from the UK’s leading ceramic tile producer, H & R Johnson Tiles Ltd, is now to open to architects, designers and specifiers as an inspirational venue for events.

Ideally located in central London at 10 Great Titchfield Street in Oxford Circus, the new 400 square metre facility is situated on two floors and is a unique space to suit all types of events from informal functions to product launches, seminars and debates for up to 80 people.

Bringing technology and creativity together, a stimulating environment has been created within Material Lab, which features the latest ceramic tiling and other surface decoration materials including glass, wood, metal and fabric.

Ben Marshall, Material Lab Manager commented: “We have developed Material Lab as an extension of our services to the architectural and design communities, extending our expertise to the industry. And by offering the Material Lab to the rest of our industry as a venue for events and parties, we are giving them a distinctive space that will undoubtedly impress partners, colleagues and customers alike.

Visitors and delegates will be able to view the exciting interiors options in a light, bright stimulating environment as well as choose materials they wish to specify and take samples of their chosen products.”

Unlike many other conventional venues, Material Lab offers a flexible, unique and inspiring event location that can cater for all types of occasions, such as, breakfast briefings, CPDS, presentations and lectures, displays, seminars, launches, debates and private or informal meetings.

Material Lab allows for experimentation, invention and the opportunity to break the boundaries of design.
