Edge Flooring ("Edge") is excited to announce our expansion into the German marketplace with our new retail customer, MAX BAHR.
MAX BAHR is among the top ten building and home improvement retailers in Germany. The chain includes 80 stores in 49 cities throughout the Country. The Edge system is a natural fit for MAX BAHR, a retailer serving both the professional trade as well as the "Do It Yourself" customer. Edge products will be available as stocked items in the larger format stores and as special order items in the smaller format stores.
The marketing teams at both companies worked diligently to customize a program which meets the needs of the German market place. From marketing collateral to product selection, a program was developed which is being very well received in the German home center channel.
To educate consumers, a national print advertising campaign will begin in July 2006 and will be combined with product flyers and in store demonstrations.
