Phoenix Solar to Construct Four Photovoltaic Power Plants in Turkey

Phoenix Solar AG (ISIN DE000A0BVU93), a leading international photovoltaic system integrator listed in the Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, and its partner Asunim Yenilenebilir Enerji Teknolojileri İnş. Müh. San. Tic. Ltd. Şti., a member of the Asunim group, have been jointly awarded an order by a Turkish governmental enterprise to build an array of four photovoltaic power plants with a total capacity of 4.9 MWp in the Incesu Industrial Zone in Kayseri in central Anatolia.

Phoenix Solar will carry out all engineering and procurement tasks. Asunim was already in charge of the earlier project development and will take on the actual construction which includes mounting Jinko poly crystalline solar modules and SMA inverters. The electricity will be sold to the grid. The revenues generated will be used by the customer to further develop the industrial zones aiming at expanding the industry base in the Kayseri region.

Recep Yıldız, spokesman for İncesu OSB, underlined: "This project is part of our strategy to combine the benefits of clean energy and a reduced CO2 footprint with enhanced economic growth in the Kayseri region.
