To ensure the highest quality of service for Associa managed communities, Associa OnCall technicians have begun taking part in roof repair certification courses. More than a dozen maintenance specialists from three Associa branches have completed the training at GAF headquarters in Parsippany, New Jersey. GAF is North America's largest manufacturer of commercial and residential roofing.
"When any of our residents need roof repair or construction we are there to ensure that the contractor does the necessary and quality work required. It's vital that we stay educated and informed so we can insure a top notch solution for the communities we serve," says OnCall Vice President of Field Services Tosh Tricas. "With this training, our employees will know better what to look for when approving roof maintenance jobs."
18 Associa OnCall technicians took part in the training at GAF's product and development lab on November 11 and other training dates are scheduled to certify additional employees. The certification class included courses in routine maintenance, GAF Pro Field Guide, GAF 40 Point Golden Pledge inspections, shop training with new products and instruction on the proper and most current roof repair methods.
