Integrity Windows and Doors, the manufacturer of fiberglass window and door products made with Ultrex® pultruded fiberglass, announces a formal partnership with Make It Right.
Founded by Brad Pitt in 2007, Make It Right builds sustainable, affordable homes for people in need around the country. All Make It Right projects are LEED certified and Cradle to Cradle-inspired—meeting the highest standards of green building.
The partnership between Integrity and Make It Right comes on the heels of the 10th Anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, where Integrity's products were used in the rebuilding of homes in the city's historic Lower 9th Ward. Integrity's products were chosen by Make It Right for the rebuilding of these homes due to the product's quality, strength and durability. Since that time, Integrity windows and doors have been used in numerous Make It Right projects across the country.
"Integrity makes beautifully crafted, highly durable windows and doors," says Cesar Rodriguez, Make It Right's building materials specialist. "They offer great quality at an affordable price, making Integrity the perfect partner for well-designed, sustainable homes built for working families."
On August 29, New Orleans will remember all that was lost in Hurricane Katrina, and will celebrate the rebuilding progress across the city with a celebration hosted by Make It Right. Representatives from the organization will be on hand, sharing stories from the Lower 9th Ward and the work the organization has done to bring this part of the city back to life. Make It Right is also hosting a day of service, where hundreds of volunteers from around the country will be a hands-on part of the rebuilding effort.
"We are proud to extend our partnership with Make It Right, and to continue to support all of the work that they do in providing homes and buildings for those in need," says Becky Felling, Director of Marketing for Integrity Windows and Doors. "In 2007, our team heard of the work that this organization was doing to help rebuild New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, and we knew then that it was something that we wanted to be involved in. Over the years, our partnership has grown, and we are honored to see our products continued to be used in their designs. We're looking forward to this more formal relationship so that we can continue to work together to make a difference in communities in need across the country."
