Beacon Roofing Supply Launches New Branch in South Boston, Massachusetts

Beacon Roofing Supply, Inc. ("Beacon") announced today that it has opened a new branch in the Seaport District of Boston, Massachusetts. This new branch raises the total of Beacon’s new branch openings since January 1, 2015 to six, joining Birmingham, AL; Charlotte, NC; Arvada, CO, Ocala, FL, and Oxnard, CA.

Beacon has opened 32 new branches in 19 states and one Canadian province in the last 21 months and now operates 274 branches throughout the United States and Canada. Beacon has added 208 branches through greenfield openings and acquisitions since its IPO in 2004.

Paul Isabella, Beacon’s CEO and President, emphasized the importance of greenfield openings to Beacon’s overall growth strategy and stated, "we are very pleased to open our new branch in the vibrant, new South Boston Seaport District. Beacon has served customers in the Boston area since 1928 and our new South Boston branch will enable us to more efficiently serve our customers both in and around Boston. With the opening of this new branch in the same week as the announcement of our transformative acquisition of Roofing Supply Group (“RSG”), Beacon continues to show the ability to grow both through acquisitions and greenfields, and I look for both of these strategic growth trends to continue in the future."
