Western Emulsions Announces Acquisition of Asphalt Emulsion Manufacturing Facility in Oregon

Western Emulsions Inc. announced it has acquired an existing asphalt emulsion manufacturing facility in White City, OR from Modesto, CA-based Morgan Emultech, dba VSS Emultech.

Western Emulsions makes asphalt liquid products that help public agencies proactively keep their pavements in good condition. With this strategic acquisition, Western Emulsions now will offer its range of emulsion products to public agency customers throughout the Pacific Northwest and northern California for their roadway construction, preservation, and recycling programs.

“The purchase of the White City facility provides Western Emulsions with a complementary base from which to serve many current customers, and the ability to provide customers in the Pacific Northwest with popular branded emulsion products that weren’t previously available in their area,” said Kevin M.
