"As the PCL Ottawa district enters into its 25th year in the nation's capital, we are very excited and proud to be working with the Ottawa Heart Institute, Infrastructure Ontario, and The Ottawa Hospital recognizing the valuable contribution this project will make not only to the community but also to employment in the capital. The vast majority of labour will be coming from the Ottawa region," said Kevin Skinner, vice president and district manager for PCL's Ottawa operations. "At the peak of construction, over 200 workers are expected to be on-site to achieve our schedule commitments and bring this project to life."

This groundbreaking marks a significant milestone towards providing the nation's capital with a unique state-of-the-art work environment, as well as providing intensive care units and a facility to be used for cardiac catheterization and surgery.
