Money Pit Media and Discovery Communications, Inc. announced today that "The Money Pit Home Improvement Radio Show" will be added to Discovery Channel Radio effective January 7, 2006.
"The Money Pit" is a nationally syndicated home improvement radio program that is heard each weekend on over 150 radio stations across the United States and Canada. The lively two-hour call-in show is hosted by Tom Kraeutler and Leslie Segrete and delivers fresh, home improvement advice that engages, informs and inspires listeners. Discovery Channel Radio brings the world-class quality and variety of Discovery Networks' programming to SIRIUS Satellite Radio. Discovery radio programming invites listeners to explore their world with in-depth, engaging and entertaining audio programs.

Discovery Channel Radio joins a line-up of new Money Pit affiliates, which includes stations in San Francisco, Chicago, Houston and Washington, DC, who each added the show this year. Kraeutler and Segrete are radio's only he-and-she home improvement team. Besides radio, they also share their advice through e-newsletters, columns and TV. Kraeutler is a regular contributor to news television shows like CNN's "Open House," and Segrete is an on-air talent for TLC's "While You Were Out" and "Trading Spaces."
They also author a monthly remodeling column for House Beautiful Specials. The Money Pit begins on Discovery Channel Radio on January 7, 2006 and can be heard on Sirius Channel 119.
