For the ultimate professional-grade asphalt sealer without the health and environmental concerns that accompany coal tar-based sealers, Unique Paving Materials offers Integra-Seal.
Pothole and road repairs are currently in full force, making sealers all the more important for extending the quality and life of the repairs. Compared to traditional sealers, Integra-Seal is the eco-friendly option. The formula uses zero VOCs and does not contain the PAHs contained in Coal Tar sealers.
"There's growing concern over PAHs, VOCs and detrimental asphalt sealing products made from coal tar," said Michael Pemberton, president of Unique Paving Materials. "Integra-Seal eliminates those concerns because it's a low odor, environmentally-friendly sealer.
Integra-Seal is extremely convenient and cost-effective. It is formulated to be extended with water and/or sand, is stable for easy mixing, and exhibits excellent adhesion to pavement surfaces.
One gallon of Integra-Seal will cover approximately 100 to 120 square feet (or 11 to 13 square yards); however coverage rate varies due to age, surface condition and porosity. Final cure time, prior to opening to traffic, should be 24 hours.
