YIT Signs Agreements to Build Four Residential Projects

YIT has signed agreements with TA-Asumisoikeus Oy and TA-Yhtymä Oy for the construction of four residential projects in the metropolitan area.

The total value of the projects is approximately EUR 20 million, and they will be completed during 2015. There will be a total of approximately 100 apartments in the properties designed by YIT on its own plots, with a total living area of approximately 6,500 square metres.

The agreements made with TA-Asumisoikeus Oy cover two terraced house projects and one apartment building project where right-of-occupancy flats will be constructed. The agreement made with TA-Yhtymä Oy covers one apartment building project to be constructed as rental flats.

“The projects to be started are productions supported by The Housing Finance and Development Centre of Finland (ARA) – therefore, YIT can join in easing the shortage of reasonably priced apartments in the metropolitan area,” says Harri Isoviita, Senior Vice President, YIT Residential Construction division.
