Oregon University Building Expects top Receive Highest Green Building Certification

From Portland, Oregon comes a national green building breakthrough: the engineering of a major green building — the Oregon Health & Science University’s River Campus Project — on a conventional budget. In addition to breaking the cost barrier, which is an achievement that can revolutionize the design of large buildings, this project also expects to receive the USA’s highest green building certification: LEED Platinum.

As The Oregonian, the state's largest daily, reported on its business front page (Dec. 2nd), the building's projected energy savings of more than 60% is "off the charts."
