Rigid Receives Authorization to Supply Metal Building Systems in Canada

A US-based metal buildings manufacturer, Rigid Global Buildings, has expanded its operations into Canada. With the recent certification of their steel building / welding products, Rigid is now authorized to supply metal building systems to all Canadian provinces.

Making the Cut
Rigid was recently approved for the CSA A660-10 certification, thereby allowing the company to supply Canadian clients with pre-engineered metal buildings. The CSA A660-10 certification requires companies to meet a stringent set of engineering standards. Due to the emphasis on quality engineering, Rigid's products easily met all of the certification's structural design and production requirements necessary to achieve the CSA A660-10 Canadian Certification. In addition, Rigid also offers Engineering Seals for all provinces in Canada as well.

Affordable Metal Buildings for Canada
Although Rigid's certification was recently approved, they are already making a competitive splash in this new market. With in-house engineering and manufacturing capabilities, Rigid is able to provide clients with custom metal, Canadian code buildings at a fraction of the cost of other suppliers.

Contractors and construction companies are encouraged to improve erection strategies and given the opportunity to broaden their building selection by applying for the company's Authorized Builder program. Rigid's extensive Nationwide Authorized Builder network is a comprehensive group of general contractors, commercial contractors, and residential contractors that sell and install pre-engineered metal buildings.

This network of builders take metal buildings to the next level by connecting clients directly with the supplier and offering turnkey services. It is through this network that Rigid was able to establish a presence in the Canadian market.

Helping the Canadian E&P Industry
With drilling at an all-time high, Rigid could not have chosen a better time to enter the Canadian market. Pre-engineered metal building systems are particularly attractive for those servicing the E&P industries; they are an effective, cost-efficient solution for petrochemical processing plants and pipeline stations. They also make fantastic structures for housing offices and motor control centers.

Promoting Energy Efficiency in Canada
In addition to supplying clients with affordable building options, Rigid also hopes to promote energy efficient options, such as Energy Star rated color selections. All of our pre-engineered metal buildings are made from recycled steel, which can be recycled again after use. Moreover, Rigid carries over 15 Energy Star approved paints, providing building with reflective roofing options that lower energy costs.

With Rigid Global Buildings expanding to Canada, the opportunities for construction are now limitless.
