Kaufman Lynn Kicks Off 57,000-Square-Foot Retail Project in Miami’s Health District for Swerdlow Group

Kaufman Lynn Construction started work on a 1.9 acres site located in Miami’s Health District to build a 57,000 square foot retail project for the Swerdlow Group. The Shoppes of Civica will be the first phase of a larger development project planned for the site.

The two-story building will add a mix of 20 retail stores and restaurants to the area. “We’re excited to work with the Swerdlow Group on this project. With so many people in and out of the surrounding healthcare facilities and courthouse, this area really needs more dining opportunities,” explained Michael Kaufman, president and CEO of Kaufman Lynn Construction.

Kaufman Lynn Construction has previously completed a variety of retail projects throughout South Florida and provided the Swerdlow Group with preconstruction pricing for this project.

Construction is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
