International Builders' Show attendees will find sustainable, inventive new products, live interactive demonstrations, celebrity appearances, and a revamped Building Solutions® rewards program at the CertainTeed Corporation exhibit (#C2127), Feb. 4-6 in Las Vegas.
A cornerstone of the exhibit, CertainTeed will unveil SMARTBATT™ with MoistureSense™ Technology, an industry-first fiberglass batt insulation that contributes to healthier homes and buildings by intelligently managing moisture. The insulation adapts based on moisture levels in the wall cavity, blocking moisture from entering when humidity is low and allowing the wall to breathe when it senses high humidity that needs to be released, helping reduce the potential for mold and mildew growth. SMARTBATT also offers highly efficient thermal performance and enhances acoustical control by helping to block disturbing outside noise.
Additionally, a revamped version of ColorView™ — an advanced set of exterior home design tools — will make its debut at the show. Featuring a user-friendly interface, ColorView offers users preset color combinations along with an array of stock images to create exterior home designs. For a more customized approach, users can upload an image of a home and use do-it-yourself masking to more accurately create renderings that can be used as a selling tool with homeowner customers.
"When it comes to performance, style, colors and innovation, CertainTeed offers an unrivaled portfolio of interior and exterior building products, resulting in an unique one-stop-shop for builders," said Eric Nilsson, vice president of corporate marketing for CertainTeed Corporation. "That being said, our commitment to the building industry extends far beyond our products — we're dedicating significant time and energy in providing builders and remodelers with ancillary training, selling tools and rebates that contribute to better buildings."
In an effort to tackle the most pressing building-related challenges, CertainTeed will have a knowledgeable team of product gurus on hand along with high-energy Q&A sessions. Builders are also encouraged to visit the booth to learn more about Building Solutions, CertainTeed's newly-enhanced rebate and reward program that helps builders boost their bottom lines.
Two celebrity appearances have also been slated at the exhibit — Norm Abram from "This Old House" on Feb. 4 from 3 to 4 p.m. and Mike Holmes, host of "Holmes on Homes" on Feb. 5 from 3-4 p.m.
