Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension Construction Authority to Issue RFP for Azusa to Montclair Engineering

The Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension Construction Authority intends to issue Request for Proposals (RFP) C1160 Azusa to Montclair Engineering and NEPA Support Services in early January 2014.

The Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension from Azusa to Montclair is the next phase of the Metro Gold Line light rail system. It will extend the system 12.3-miles to the east of the future APU/Citrus College Station (currently under construction) and include six new at-grade stations. The Azusa to Montclair extension was CEQA certified in March 2013. The main scope of work in this procurement will be to provide consultant services to perform a NEPA study of the project and provide engineering support for the advanced conceptual engineering, that will prepare the design for a design-build procurement.
